Your journey will begin with training so realistic you'll swear you're actually there. That's because the training in AA3 was created by the U.S. Army and is based on real Army training - and you'll need it too! You're about to step into the role of one of the most highly trained Soldiers the world has ever known.

In America's Army 3, characters are more authentic than characters in any other video game. While playing AA3, you'll receive guidance from Drill Instructors who have extensive military training and combat experience. Read their biographies to learn their Army stories to see how they became Army Strong.

Listen carefully to the Drill Sergeants and the Range Cadre. They will instruct you how to approach each task to have the best chance of achieving a passing grade or "GO." What you learn during these training exercises will help you survive the rigors of your missions and successfully complete them.

You'll also meet some of our Real Heroes, Soldiers who have earned awards for bravery and valor in combat operations and who epitomize the Seven Army Values: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. The opportunity to meet these Real Heroes is one of the many ways that America's Army 3 is a game like no other.

Situation: The city of Travnizeme has recently been occupied by Czervenian forces. The civilian population has been trapped in the region, and U.S. forces are escorting refugees from the region to U.N. refugee camps.

A. Enemy Forces: Elements of the 42nd Battalion, N.M.E. North occupy the commercial and governmental districts of the Travnizeme. Command elements of the 42nd currently occupy city council chambers.

B. Friendly Forces: 82nd Airborne. Bravo Company will be responsible for securing the commercial district. Charlie Company will secure the governmental district.

C. Environment: Dusk. Sporadic precipitation and light fog. Urban environment with civilian presence.

ROE: Rules of Engagement published 12MAY05 are in effect. Use appropriate force against positively identified enemy combatants only. Minimize damage to local infrastructure. Be advised large civilian presence in contested area.
